NON CONTE ITEMS BEING OFFERED TO COLLECTORS
In cleaning the warehouse and storage units I've been reminded of how large our collection
of plastic figures made by other manufacturers really is & have decided to 'thin the herd' by
selling about 1/2 of what we have direct to Conte collectors.
We have tens of thousands of rare (and not so rare) plastic or resin figures made by others
which we want to share with our loyal Conte customers . Due to the sheer volume of calls
we've been forced to rely on Ebay to handle these items. Cleaning , sorting , packing the
warehouse is such a major undertaking that we just can't handle sales of these vintage
items directly to you......( I had originally hoped to do this this way but it never panned out
as we often had more than 1 collector wanting the same items....the only way to be fair to all
was to offer these items at auction).
We aren't 'just talking' the usual reissued Marx or reissued Timpo or the especially poorly
done reissued Britains Deetail soldiers......WE ARE SELLING ORIGINALS......MOST FROM
THE 1960'S AND 1970'S IN EXCELLENT SHAPE.
We have Timpo Romans, Vikings, Crusaders, Knights , Arabs, Cowboys, Indians, 7th Cavalry
by the hundreds.......(hundreds of each). We also have huge numbers of Britains Swoppets
American Civil War, Revolutionary War, Knights and even some English Civil
War.........HERALD Trojans, 7th Cavalry, etc.......Britains Deetail we have large stocks of
original early first run issues of just about everything they made from WW2 to ACW to
Knights/Turks to Foreign Legion/Arabs to Napoleonic to Mexican Bandits to 7th Cavalry. We
also have loads of Timpo and Britains and Marx vehicles, wagons, buildings.........
The same goes for Marx....for Accurate..for Barzso (we have multiple mint unopened sets of
most of the Barzso playsets and figure sets which are now sold out). We also have loads of
Matchbox, Airfix, and even some Atlantic Ancient figures.
Also being sold will be about 1/2 of our sizeable fleet of Remco Big Caesars ......
Elastolin/Preiser we have in both 40 mm and 70 mm scale with Romans, Vikings and Knights
in large quantities. We also have such rarities as Huns and Janissaries and Revolutionary
war...we have some siege equipment...etc
Accurate Figures( some of which RC co-designed) are also here in all sorts of rare colors.

Single Color Pewter Figures At Last Available!!!!
Perfect For Plastics Collectors & For Metal Collectors Wanting An "Unpainted" Casting.
ACW...Alamo..WW2...Vikings/Saxons.....
In sorting the warehouse, we have found a limited number of single color fine pewter figures which were used in some of our
playsets in the past. FOR THE 1ST & ONLY TIME we are offering some of these sets directly to you as individual pieces or
sets......in other words, they are available outside and separate from the playsets ......you don't have to buy the playsets to acquire
these ,,,so if you always wanted these figures but couldn't or didn't buy the larger playsets...NOW IS YOUR CHANCE to acquire
these elusive figures.........
These have been requested for years by plastic collectors who didn't have room for the huge playsets and by metal collectors who
wanted to "paint your own metal figures". None of these poses have been produced in plastic........this is the only way we are
going to make these.
The figures listed below are all made of fine pewter and are painted a single color to match the color of our plastic ranges which they
were designed to go with. For metal collectors wanting to paint their own figures, the single color is effectively a primer coat. By
single color we mean--as examples-- the Confederates are a rich gray which matches our plastic Confederates....Alamo defenders a
tan....Mexican Army a light blue.....WW2 Airborne a khaki...etc........Mounted Figures have single color figures, single color horses
and a base which is usually green. As an example Robert E. Lee is gray, the horse is a white/gray and the base is green. If you are
trying to figure out the colors look at our plastic sets which these went with...we will try to post pictures in the near future........for
reference purposes now we have provided a link to the PAINTED pewter set (when possible) which matches these or are the same
poses. We've listed all sets which we used in playsets..unfortunately some already appear to have sold out. We've listed them
anyhow in case you are trying to track them down for your collection--you'll know what to look for....
The prices for each are listed below and do not include shipping. I should add that the prices we've listed are for fine pewter
figures, NOT less expensive lead castings, and that all figures are fully assembled. The point here is that we are charging less than
the industry norm for a 54mm unassembled 'kit' made of lead or cheap alloy. Figure are generally packed in boxes, wrapped in
tissue and protected by foam...some sets are in 'clamshells"....all nicely packaged.
If you want these, please order.....some we only have a few of and when they are gone they are truly gone. "intro" prices will be
discontinued at our discretion as the inventory dwindles and higher prices put in place.
Please call early if you want to add these to your collection; in some cases we have as few as twenty four sets.......I hope that our
releasing these figures individually will allow many many more of you to add these figures to your collections!
